** Update 8/2014 – Proceeds have been donated, and I am in the process of making the e-book free, and the paper back as cheap as I’m allowed. See my donation post here: Donation of my Proceeds to The Lifeline **
I am currently donating all the proceeds I make from the sale of my book to The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. So, I feel it’s important to provide some sort of accountability to readers of my sales and donations.
I plan to make my first donation once (if) I make $100.00 in proceeds. And after every $100.00 there after. Currently, I’m a long way from hitting that mark! But if I ever do, I will begin tracking on this page.
Based on her experiences as a suicide survivor, Carrie Lange’s ‘Letting Go’ hopes to save lives by giving pause to someone who is contemplating suicide, if only long enough for them to reach out for the help they need. With all profits donated to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Lange is working voraciously to give thousands the help and support they need to stay alive.
Seattle, WA – Twelve years ago, Carrie Lange learned the gut-wrenching news that her fiancé Dan had committed suicide. Leading to unimaginable grief and her own suicide attempt, Lange has now committed her time and resources to helping others prevent suicide and help grieving survivors find solace. With the release of her gripping new fictionalized autobiography, Lange has embarked on a bold journey to raise both funds for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and awareness for society’s growing suicide statistics.
